Factores sociodemográficos y síndrome de burnout en enfermeros covid-19 del Hospital Nacional Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo, Arequipa, 2021
Abstract
Introducción: La pandemia por Covid-19 ha expuesto la realidad del sistema sanitario en
diversos países, adicional a ello, la extenuante jornada laboral impuesta al personal
sanitario revela mayor carga emocional, fatiga, estrés en ellos generando consecuencias
no solo individuales sino también a nivel organizacional.
Objetivo: identificar los factores sociodemográficos asociados a Síndrome de Burnout en
enfermeros de COVID-19 del Hospital Nacional Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo de
Arequipa.
Métodos: se aplicó la prueba de Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), a una muestra
conformada por 122 enfermeros.
Resultados: Se encontró una prevalencia del nivel medio en cuanto a síndrome de Burnout
(60.66%); también se observa una prevalencia del nivel bajo en cuanto a las dimensiones
cansancio emocional (46.72%); el nivel alto en despersonalización (68.03%); y realización
personal (59.02%).
Conclusiones: Se evaluó la relación la influencia de características sociodemográficas y los
niveles de síndrome de burnout, del cual se observó una relación significativa entre
experiencia laboral (0.011*) y una relación entre régimen laboral y despersonalización
(0.029*) y finalmente una relación significativa entre régimen laboral y realización personal
(0.041*)
