Sepsis neonatal temprana y sus factores de riesgo en el servicio de neonatología del Hospital Nacional Sergio E. Bernales en el 2018
Abstract
Objetivo: Determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a Sepsis Neonatal temprana en el Servicio de Neonatología del Hospital Sergio E. Bernales en el año 2018. Metodología: El estudio realizado fue observacional, analítico tipo casos y controles, la muestra fue de 80 casos y 160 controles, se revisaron historias clínicas para la obtención de datos y el llenado de fichas de recolección de datos, se analizaron en el paquete estadístico STATA 14.0; las variables categóricas fueron descritas con frecuencias y porcentajes; el análisis Bivariado se realizó mediante la prueba chi2 y exacta de Fisher, según la distribución de cada una de las variables; obteniéndose los Odds Ratio, valores p e IC 95%. Resultados: Se analizaron los datos de 240 neonatos, la edad gestacional promedio fue de 38,04 semanas +/- 2,02 semanas, el 26,3% de los casos y el 18,7% de los controles fueron pretérmino, el 43,7% de los casos y el 26,2% de los controles tuvieron rotura prematura de membranas. Conclusión: El factor asociado a sepsis neonatal temprana en el Servicio de Neonatología del Hospital Sergio E. Bernales-2018 fue la rotura prematura de membranas.
