Conjunto residencial en el Distrito de San Miguel
Abstract
Desde hace algunos años, las principales ciudades de Latinoamérica han tenido un
crecimiento poblacional, generando un déficit habitacional.
Según estudios de INEI en el Perú, la migración de las personas de provincias a
Lima y Callao, tuvieron como consecuencia la ampliación del perímetro urbano. Por
ello se hizo un estudio desde el año 1940, en el cual la ciudad de Lima tenía un
promedio de 645 mil habitantes. En el año 2007, la población aumentó a 8 millones
482 mil 619 habitantes, sin embargo, en el año 2019, esta creció cerca a los 10 lo
cual quiere decir que en la actualidad esta cifra es superior.
Todo este crecimiento poblacional necesita de vivienda para poder cubrir sus
necesidades.
“De acuerdo con el diario Gestión, la escasez de viviendas en Lima Metropolitana
