Factores materno – perinatales asociados a ictericia del recién nacido en el servicio de Neonatología. Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión. Enero - Marzo 2019
Abstract
La ictericia neonatal es un problema de salud pública al ser relacionado a factores que pueden perjudicar a corto o largo plazo al recién nacido.
Objetivo: Determinar los factores materno – perinatales asociados a ictericia del recién nacido en el servicio de neonatología en el Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión en el Callao, durante los meses de enero a marzo del 2019.
Materiales y Métodos: Es un estudio tipo transversal observacional, analítico, cuantitativo, tipo caso – control, se usó una muestra de 810 neonatos, en razón de 2:1 con respecto a los controles con casos respectivamente mediante fichas de recolección de datos.
Resultados: Sexo (OR: 1.038, p: 0.804), peso (OR: 1.185, p: 0.338), trauma obstétrico (OR: 1.262, p: 0.246), lactancia materna (OR: 1.103, p: 0.515), pérdida ponderal de peso (OR: 1.069, p: 0.738), edad materna (OR: 1.474, p: 0.067), anemia materna (OR: 1.082, p: 0.627), prematuridad (OR: 3.783, p: 0.000), deshidratación (OR: 1.822, p: 0.001), tipo de parto (OR: 0.574, p: 0.001) e Incompatibilidad sanguínea (OR: 2.086, p: 0.002).
Conclusión: La prematuridad, la deshidratación, el tipo de parto y la incompatibilidad sanguínea son factores asociados a la ictericia neonatal.
