Factores de riesgo relacionados con preeclampsia severa en gestantes atendidas en el servicio de ginecología y obstetricia del Hospital Nacional Sergio E. Bernales durante el periodo 2017- 2018
Abstract
Objetivo: La siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar los factores de
riesgo relacionados a preeclampsia severa en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital
Nacional Sergio E. Bernales durante el periodo 2017- 2018.
Materiales y métodos: Es un estudio observacional, analítico de casos y controles,
retrospectivo, donde se estudió a toda la población de gestantes atendidas en el
Hospital Nacional Sergio E. Bernales durante el periodo 2017- 2018. Los datos se
obtuvieron de las historias clínicas de cada gestante atendida en el servicio de
Ginecología y Obstetricia con diagnóstico de preeclampsia severa en el periodo
establecido. La información recogida fue ingresada a una base de datos en el
programa SPSS 20.2para su análisis.
Resultados: En el análisis bivariado, resultaron significativos el antecedente de
preeclampsia previa (OR= 5.88;p=0.004), el número de controles prenatales menor a
4 (OR= 2.02; p=0.021) y la hipertensión crónica (OR= 4.38; p=0.011). En el análisis
multivariado las variables independientes fueron el antecedente de preeclampsia
previa(OR= 5.79; p=0.015), el número de controles prenatales menor a 4(OR= 2.28;
p=0.012) y la hipertensión crónica (OR= 4.09; p=0.029) resultaron significativas.
Conclusión: El antecedente de preeclampsia previa, el número de controles
prenatales menor a 4 y la hipertensión crónica son los principales factores de riesgo
asociados a preeclampsia severa.
