La presente tesis titulada “Rendimiento del equipo de conservación vial y su incidencia en los costos de obra en la red vial vecinal” tiene como objetivo hallar el rendimiento de los equipos utilizados para las diferentes actividades de conservación vial en una red vial vecinal y determinar cómo ésta afecta en los costos del proyecto.
La investigación realizada es de tipo descriptiva, ya que se halla el rendimiento de los equipos según manuales ya establecidos por el fabricante y para los costos de cada partida a analizar se hallarán mediante la determinación del Costo Horario de los equipos y maquinaria del sector en la construcción.
Esta investigación muestra como el rendimiento de los equipos es afectado por diferentes factores en las actividades de conservación vial, siendo de ayuda a los futuros proyectos al momento de estimar los costos del mismo.
Se utilizó el manual de Caterpillar como herramienta para hallar el rendimiento mediante las fórmulas o tablas y se aplicó factores que pudiesen afectar a cada equipo. Para esta investigación se analizó los equipos tales como: tractor de oruga, excavadora sobre oruga, cargador frontal, motoniveladora y rodillo liso.
Al momento de comparar los rendimientos dados por el fabricante y el obtenido mediante los planes viales se logró determinar que los rendimientos de los fabricantes son mayores causando que al momento de estimar los costos para la realización de un proyecto este no sea el real y pueda presentar mayores costos.
