Identificación de nematodos en Pygocentrus nattereri “piraña” (Serrasalmidae) y Pimelodus blochii “bagre” (Pimelodidae) procedentes de Iquitos, Loreto
Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad identificar los nematodos aislados de
Pygocentrus nattereri “piraña” y Pimelodus blochii “bagre” procedentes de Iquitos,
Loreto. Se evaluaron 60 especímenes de P. nattereri y 15 de P. blochii
respectivamente durante los meses de muestreo en septiembre 2019 y enero 2020.
Los endoparásitos fueron aislados de diferentes órganos de sus hospederos ícticos
como: intestino, estómago, superficie de las gónadas y del músculo abdominal.
Posteriormente se lavaron en solución salina (NaCl al 0,9%) y se fijaron en viales
con alcohol al 70% para su conservación. Para la observación al microscopio y
diferenciación morfológica de las estructuras externas e internas y caracteres
propios de los parásitos, se usó una solución aclarante de lactofenol de Amann. Se
empleó un ocular micrométrico para la obtención de las medidas morfométricas y
las fotografías fueron tomadas con un microscopio compuesto con cámara digital
incorporada (Leica DM750). Un total de 109 nematodos fueron colectados e
identificados como larvas de tercer estadío de Contracaecum sp. y de Anisakis sp.
(Anisakidae) respectivamente; así como, los adultos de Procamallanus (S.)
inopinatus (Camallanidae). Se registra a P (S.) inopinatus y Anisakis sp. tipo I como
especies con mayor prevalencia, (96.6%) y (80%). Se encontró una correlación
positiva significativa media y alta entre la longitud estándar de P. nattereri y de P.
blochii con respecto a la abundancia de larvas L3 de Contracaecum sp. (rs=0.541),
los adultos de P (S.) inopinatus (rs=0.789) y las larvas L3 de Anisakis sp. tipo I
(rs=0.910) respectivamente (p < 0,05).
Se reporta a las larvas L3 de Contracaecum sp. y de Anisakis sp. tipo I, como
especies con posible potencial zoonótico. Pimelodus blochii es un nuevo hospedero
para Anisakis sp. tipo I.
