Análisis del uso del reciclado con asfalto espumado para la rehabilitación de pavimentos en zonas urbanas

La presente investigación, difunde la técnica del reciclado in-situ del pavimento con
asfalto espumado para vías urbanas, debido a las ventajas mostradas en diversos estudios
alrededor del mundo. Dado que el aumento de la contaminación, el cambio climático y el
ahorro de recursos afectan directamente al desarrollo y crecimiento del país. La
investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo de acuerdo con los tipos de datos analizados en
diversos documentos, en donde se empleó el método deductivo y un alcance descriptivo
para especificar propiedades y características del proceso, además el diseño es de carácter
transversal y no experimental.
Para el desarrollo de la investigación se evaluó la rehabilitación del pavimento llevado a
cabo en la avenida Raúl Ferrero en el año 2006. En esta obra se ejecutaron trabajos de
mantenimiento, rehabilitación y ampliación de dicha avenida, centrando la investigación de
la presente tesis en la rehabilitación del pavimento.
A través de diversos documentos como tesis, artículos y manuales se pudo establecer un
posible cronograma de trabajo, así como una estructura de desarrollo y ejecución para con
ello llegar a determinar la secuencia constructiva, la maquinaria que interviene y los
rendimientos dados por partida, con lo que se pudo determinar los tiempos máximos por
actividad. Además, teniendo la maquinaria total que se empleó tanto para la rehabilitación
como la que usualmente se emplea en la ejecución del reciclado in-situ, es que obtuvimos
los valores para las emisiones que se producen durante su utilización.
