Anemia como factor pronóstico en la supervivencia de los pacientes con Linfoma T periférico no especificado

Objetivo: Determinar si la anemia tiene un impacto en la supervivencia de los pacientes con Linfoma T periférico no especificado (PTCL-NOS) diagnosticados y tratados en el Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins en el transcurso de los años 1997 al 2017. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional, longitudinal-analítico, de cohortes retrospectivo, en el que incluimos a todos los casos con un diagnóstico patológico de PTCL-NOS que fueron diagnosticados y tratados en el Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins entre 1997 al 2017, que fueran mayores de 18 años y que no estuvieran en el estadio 3 y 4 de la enfermedad. Mediante las curvas de supervivencia de Kaplan-Meier se determinó la supervivencia global global de los pacientes. Resultados: Se encontró que los pacientes con anemia severa, tienen una supervivencia menor que los que no presentan anemia o tienen anemia leve-moderada, HR:2,57 IC95%(1,01:6,57), p<0.046; también los que presentaban sexo masculino HR:2,18(1,23-3,90) p<0,008; DHL<480 HR:3,57 IC95%(2,08:6,75) y ECOG (3-4) HR:3,62 IC95%(2,0:6,53), ambos con p<0,001, presentaron una supervivencia baja. Conclusiones: La anemia severa, el sexo masculino, el DHL elevado y el pobre en ECOG son factores que predicen la supervivencia de los pacientes con Linfoma tipo T no especificado, dentro las demás variables estudiadas el DHL y el ECOG también demostraron ser un predictores de supervivencia global, estos resultados sin embargo cobrarían más fuerza de asociación con una población más grande.
