Impacto del índice eosinofilo/linfocito en la sobrevida de pacientes con cáncer de cuello uterino en el Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas, Lima 2013
Abstract
Introducción: La política de prevención, en medicina es quizás la más importante
medida que se tiene a la actualidad, es por ello que, en la búsqueda de alcanzar
logros significativos, se planteó la idea de utilizar nuevos índices o marcadores que,
no tenían esta finalidad, pero que podrían darnos características pronosticas acerca
de la sobreviva en casos como la segunda neoplasia más común en el sexo
femenino el “cáncer de cuello uterino” según la OMS. Objetivo: Determinar la
relación entre el índice eosinófilo linfocito como predictor de pronóstico de vida en
pacientes con cáncer de cuello uterino. Métodos: Historias clínicas, hemogramas,
curva Kaplan Meier, modelo cox, ficha de recolección. Resultados: la sobrevida
media a 5 años fue de 61 meses, se obtuvo resultados significativamente
estadísticos para el estadio clínico con sobrevida con una p=0,000, sin embargo,
los índices eosinófilo linfocito p=0,510, edad p=0,864, y tipo histológico p=0,829
fueron no significativos. Conclusiones: El índice Eosinófilo/Linfocito es un
marcador inflamatorio que no pudo predecir la sobrevida para pacientes con cáncer
de cuello uterino.
