Estudio de vulnerabilidad de la carretera central Santa Cruz de Cocachacra ante precipitaciones extremas

La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de conocer el nivel de
vulnerabilidad que presenta la Carretera Central Santa Cruz de Cocachacra ante el peligro
de inundación a causa de las precipitaciones extremas por medio de un estudio de
vulnerabilidad con enfoque físico.
Para reconocer la zona de estudio se partió ingresando la data base al software ArcMap,
con el fin de determinar la cuenca que engloba el tramo de carretera estudiado. Se
obtuvieron los parámetros morfométricos de la cuenca generada lo que definió el tiempo
concentración que presenta la cuenca.
Al realizar el estudio hidrológico se obtuvo el hietograma de precipitaciones para un
tiempo de retorno de 75 años, haciendo uso del método SCS en el software HEC-HMS
se obtuvo el caudal máximo que genera la cuenca.
La simulación de inundación determinó áreas inundadas que representan la exposición de
la carretera ante la inundación; al interceptarlas con la carretera central se identificaron
tramos afectados los cuales presentan valores para los indicadores de fragilidad; ya que
un sistema de drenaje no es suficiente se propusieron las siguientes alternativas: muros
de contención, descolmatación de cauce del rio, y rocas en ladearas que mitigarían los
daños que presenta la zona de estudio siendo la resiliencia que presenta la carretera.
El estudio de vulnerabilidad determino que entre los kilómetros 51 y 55 de la carretera
central existe 1.3 kilómetros de carretera vulnerable debido a las precipitaciones extremas
y presentando un nivel de vulnerabilidad media-alta.
