Factores ginecobstetricos y neonatales asociados a fractura de clavícula en neonatos en el hospital “Honadomani Madre – Niño San Bartolomé” en el año 2016 – febrero 2019
Abstract
Introducción: La fractura de clavícula es la lesión ósea más frecuente del recién
nacido en el momento del parto y tienen como factores de riesgo los obstétricos,
maternos y fetales. Las manifestaciones clínicas de la fractura de clavícula se hacen
evidentes al segundo y tercer día de vida y su diagnóstico requiere de una
confirmación radiológica. El manejo de fractura de clavícula debe iniciarse tan
pronto como se haya hecho el diagnóstico clínico.
Objetivos: Determinar los factores ginecobstétricos y neonatales que están
asociados a fractura de clavícula en neonatos en el “Hospital Honadomani madre –
niño San Bartolomé” en el año 2016 a febrero 2019.
Materiales y métodos: El diseño de investigación del presente estudio es de tipo
observacional, analítico, retrospectivo. Se recolecto los datos mediante la revisión
de historias clínicas neonatales.
Resultados: De una población de 19209 recién nacidos en el periodo 2016 hasta
febrero 2019 se obtuvieron 286 casos de fracturas de clavícula, que fueron
comparados con 286 controles. Se encontraron como factores asociados el parto
vaginal con un OR de 25.4 (I.C de 1.83 a 59.88) y un valor de P < 0.001 y la talla al
nacer mayor a 50cm con un OR de 1.97 (I.C de 1.32 a 2.93) y valor de P crudo de
< 0.001, lo cual demuestra que está directamente asociados a la fractura de
clavícula.
Conclusiones: Los factores asociados a la fractura de clavícula son la talla al nacer
y el parto vaginal.
