El objetivo de la presente investigación, es la comparación de la respuesta sísmica que se obtiene en un puente de concreto armado tipo “Viga-Cajón” diseñado con aisladores con el uso de sistema de aislamiento de dos tipos: elastoméricos y deslizantes.
Para el análisis de comportamiento sísmico con tipo de aislador elastomérico, se ha considerado el aislador con núcleo de plomo (LRB), que es el uso más común en el Perú, y para el caso del tipo deslizante se ha hecho uso del aislador con sistema de péndulo friccional (FPS)
En este caso, se ha tomado en cuenta como puente a aplicar y evaluar este sistema, el puente Riecito, que está ubicado en el departamento de Piura, que es un puente tipo viga cajón de 3 tramos de 153 metros de Luz
Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se ha hecho uso de la guía de especificaciones de diseño para aislamiento sísmico de AASHTO (GSDI) del año 2014, con ayuda y soporte del modelamiento en el programa Csi Bridge
Con el desarrollo de esta investigación se logró calcular los objetivos de la misma, que fue hallar los desplazamientos en la estructura con el uso de los dos tipos de aisladores, siendo el uso de aislador LRB menor por mínima variación que el aislador FPS, en el caso de las fuerzas cortantes y momentos máximos de la estructura sucedió lo mismo, el uso de aislador con sistema de péndulo friccional es mayor al uso de aislador con núcleo de plomo, por tanto estructuralmente el comportamiento de ambos aisladores es muy parecido.
