Centro de meditación y retiros espirituales en Santa Eulalia
Abstract
Se busca desarrollar un Centro de meditación y retiros espirituales constituido por espacios como tres ashrams (salas de meditación), bungalós eco amigables, restaurante, zona de servicios, etc. Dado que el proyecto se entiende por hacer arquitectura para la meditación, se busca hacer arquitectura con conciencia. Fomentando el uso de materiales naturales como el bambú para la mayor parte de la construcción del proyecto, el cual beneficia al medio ambiente por su gran potencial para combatir la deforestación (Agricultura, M. d. 2008), en reemplazo de materiales contaminantes.
Por otro lado, el proyecto busca generar espacios y formas orgánicos que según estudios ayudan a la disminución del estrés y otras enfermedades mentales pudiendo incrementar la vida de una manera saludable, complementado con la autosanación del cuerpo humano (Lipton, B. H. 2008). Para ello el proyecto se basa en terapias de meditación practicadas por diversos tipos de retiros espirituales. Como el Tai – chi, el Chi – Kung, el Yoga, el Vipassana y la meditación en general.
El proyecto se encuentra ubicado en Santa Eulalia en el departamento de Lima en la provincia de Huarochirí a 39 km del centro, donde la naturaleza, el paisaje y el territorio aportan uno de los papeles principales para la creación de edificaciones de este tipo.
