Indicadores epidemiológicos asociados a desgarros perineales en gestantes atendidas en el Servicio de Gineco-Obstetricia del Hospital Santa Rosa durante el periodo junio 2017 - junio 2018
Abstract
Objetivo: Determinar los indicadores epidemiológicos asociados a desgarros perineales en gestantes atendidas en el Servicio de Gineco-Obstetricia del Hospital Santa Rosa durante el periodo junio 2017 - junio 2018. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio observacional, retrospectivo, analítico, cuantitativo de casos y controles. Se seleccionaron 167 casos (puérperas con desgarro perineal) y 167 controles (puérperas sin desgarro perineal). Se recogieron los datos del libro de registro de atención de partos del servicio de Gineco Obstetricia del Hospital Santa Rosa. Resultados: En las pacientes gestantes con desgarro perineal, la media de edad fue de 28.63 años, siendo San Miguel el distrito de procedencia de la mayoría de las pacientes. Se identificó a un número no adecuado de controles prenatales (OR: 4.94, IC 95%; 3.025 – 8.065, p = 0.000), y a la edad materna mayor a 35 años (OR: 4.118, IC: 95%, 1.759 – 9.643, p = 0.001) como indicadores epidemiológicos; mientras que ser gestante gran multípara en comparación a una gestante no gran multípara (OR:1.233, IC 95%: 0.336 – 4.534, p = 0.752); además de tener un producto macrosómico en comparación a tener un producto no macrosómico (OR: 1.928, IC 95%: 0.875 – 4.247, p = 0.103), han demostrado no tener asociación estadísticamente significativa como indicadores epidemiológicos para desgarro perineal. Conclusiones y Recomendaciones: Son indicadores epidemiológicos para desgarro perineal, un número no adecuado de controles prenatales y la edad materna mayor a 35 años. Se recomienda realizar estudios de mayor complejidad que aporten mayor evidencia al tema.
