Análisis comparativo de la postectomía láser con co2 vs la postectomía convencional en pacientes del Centro de Urología Avanzada Urozen, enero 2015 a enero 2019, Lima.
Abstract
La postectomía es el procedimiento quirúrgico característico de ciertas etnias religiosas, en la actualidad se ha convertido en un procedimiento rutinario como método de higiene y prevención de enfermedades de transmisión sexual. Objetivos: Analizar de forma comparativa la postectomía láser con CO2 vs. la postectomía convencional en pacientes del Centro de Urología Avanzada UROZEN, enero 2015 a enero 2019, Lima. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio observacional, analítico, transversal de 108 pacientes que se sometieron a la postectomía mediante la técnica láser con CO2 (n=60) frente a la técnica convencional (n=48) en el Centro de Urología Avanzada UROZEN, enero 2015 a enero de 2019. Resultados: Se encontró un tiempo operatorio medio de 51.20 minutos para la postectomía convencional y 30.58 minutos para la postectomía láser con CO2. El 92% de la población intervenida con técnica convencional presentó complicaciones, siendo la más frecuente la dehiscencia 45.8%. La indicación preoperatoria más frecuente en ambos grupos fue la balanitis 47.2%. En el estudio no se encontró relación directa entre la obesidad y complicaciones. Conclusiones: En el estudio, se demostró que existen diferencias al comparar ambas técnicas operatorias, sobre todo en cuanto al tiempo quirúrgico y la presencia de complicaciones.
