Acné asociado al uso de mascarilla facial en residentes de tercer año del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en el periodo entre junio a diciembre del año 2021
Abstract
El acné es una de las patologías dermatológicas más frecuentes, sobre todo durante la
coyuntura de salud mundial, donde se vio elevada su incidencia por el uso de mascarillas
en la población general y sobre todo en trabajadores de salud, quienes fueron los que
estuvieron más expuestos al uso prolongado de estas, y hasta la actualidad.
Por ello, la presente investigación busca determinar la asociación entre el uso de
mascarillas faciales y el acné en médicos residentes del Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides
Carrión.
Se realizará un estudio de tipo observacional, transversal y descriptivo. El tamaño de la
muestra obtenida fue de 80 médicos residentes durante el periodo de junio a diciembre
del 2021. Se realizará la recolección de datos mediante un cuestionario de uso de
Mascarillas faciales de manera presencial y luego se categorizará la severidad del acné
utilizando para ello escalas clínicas dermatológicas. Se utilizará Microsoft Excel para el
procesamiento de datos y la correspondiente elaboración de la base de datos y OPENEPI
para obtener el tamaño muestral
